Chandra Krown is a dancer, vertical dancer, aerialist, acrobat, choreographer and multi-disciplinary performance artist as well as a costume designer/fabricator.

Her dance journey began as a young child studying ballet in Vancouver, BC but her childhood passion of gymnastics introduced her to the world of flight.

After attending the Main Dance Program as a young adult she began performing with various dance companies in Vancouver, Canada. She was invited to join Aeriosa Dance Society in 2004 and began her career as a vertical dancer soaring on buildings and trees. She studied aerials at the San Francisco Circus School and her hunger for adventure took her worldwide and allowed her to train, dance and perform internationally as a dance and circus artist. In 2010 she landed in Maui Hawaii which has since been her home base. Over the years Chandra developed the dance company, XtravaDance Productions, that presents dance/aerial/circus arts at various events throughout the Hawaiian islands. Chandra has evolved as a teacher, choreographer and dance company manager as well as a costume designer. She continues to dance with Aeriosa in Vancouver and is authorized to teach Wanda Moretti's (of Il Posto based in Italy) suspension and vertical dance technique. Chandra continues to follow her love of flight and creates shows and performances involving aerials and acrobatics with the passionate dedication of dance and movement as the art form of choice.
